TSMC chief executive C. C. Wei said the money will help build three chip manufacturing plants, two packaging facilities, and a research and development center—a move Trump estimated will create at least 20,000 jobs.

TSMC, which produces microchips for companies like Apple and Intel, previously invested $65 billion to construct three manufacturing plants in Arizona.

Currently, the company is building out its first 1,100-acre campus in north Phoenix and is expected to have its second facility operational by 2028.

Four downtown Tucson businesses have implemented a One Strike Rule to keep violence and drugs away from their establishments. Watch the report.

Luis Mejia, owner of Chela’s Latin Cuisine, proposed the idea following the closure of nearby HiFi, where several fights and narcotics issues occurred over the years.

To jumpstart the effort, Mejia convinced Highwire, Cobra Arcade, and Playground Bar & Lounge to use the same scanners to check IDs. Anyone who’s been banned at any of the four locations will show up under the shared system.

The four bars also hired Bradley Dickey’s Security Company Paratus Group, which helped detain a shooter at Cobra Arcade on Feb. 24.
