Article Icon 1Plague Death Confirmed

Health officials reported a Coconino County resident died from pneumonic plague, the area’s first case since 2007.

Tests confirmed the victim had a severe lung infection caused by the Yersinia pestis bacterium, which can be transmitted to animals and humans through bites from infected fleas.

Coconino County officials advised the public to use flea spray and stay away from wild rodents to help prevent exposure.

The death is not related to a recent report of prairie-dog die-off on private land in the Townsend Winona area, health officials said.

Tempe police officers completed a pizza delivery after arresting the delivery driver for alleged reckless driving and racing.

The police department posted about the July 4 delivery on social media, joking that “The order was Hot-N-Ready, and the suspect was Caught-N-Steady.”

The customer appeared visibly surprised by the delivery.

Article Icon 1Automated Dog Wash Debuts

Arizona’s first artificial intelligence-aided, automated dog wash and drying machine was unveiled at Paws 48 Wash & Gym, a dog health and grooming business in central Phoenix.

Carol Hu, founder of Woof Woof Lux, created the dog wash to ease bath-time stress for pets and owners. “If we have car washes, why not use tech to make pet care easier?” she said.

The all-in-one machine washes and dries dogs using sensors, cameras, and temperature gauges to ensure safety and a thorough clean. Wash times run between 5 and 20 minutes.

Paws 48 also features a dog treadmill to help pets get exercise away from the Arizona heat.

Analysts Project This Stock Could reach $10 a Share. You Can Still Invest for $3.25 per unit.

Worksport’s stock recently hit $4.29 on the Nasdaq.

Some Wall Street analysts say it could reach $10.33 within a year—140% higher.

But you can still purchase units for $3.25.

It’s through an offer you won’t find on the Nasdaq…

Right now, they’re giving investors the chance to buy investment units at a fixed price of $3.25.

Each unit gives you one convertible preferred share (with an 8% dividend) and one warrant to purchase another common share.

That’s up to two shares.

And yes, you can buy the units at $3.25 then immediately turn around and convert your preferred share and then sell the converted common share.

The company has already made a name for itself selling truck covers. Every 100 dealers they sign represents millions of dollars in potential revenue—and their truck tonneau cover business has already signed 400+ dealers, up 4X since the start of 2025.

They just announced a 50% production increase and 2X margin growth in the last five months.

Up next, a $13 billion market opportunity—the reason now is an exciting moment for investors to tap in.

Worksport is combining their solar truck covers with battery systems to launch a flagship mobile power system later this year. It can power everything from emergency response, to construction sites, to camping.
