Article Icon 1Canadian Tourism to Arizona Drops 22%

New data shows Canadian tourism to Arizona dropped 22% in early 2026, raising concerns for the state’s hospitality and travel industries as fewer visitors head south this year.

Passenger counts on major Canadian airlines serving Phoenix tumbled from 292,000 to 229,000 in the first quarter, with officials pointing to a weaker Canadian dollar, higher travel costs, and tariff-related tensions as key factors.

Researchers analyzing cellphone location data also found Canadian visits to major U.S. metro areas dropped 42% last year, suggesting both leisure and business travel slowed.

A map tracking the downturn identified some of the biggest declines in places like Yuma, Florida beach cities, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.

Article Icon 1Mayes Orders RV Park to Restore Power

State Attorney General Kris Mayes has ordered Pit Stop RV Park to restore power and halt alleged unlawful evictions after residents were reportedly left without electricity during triple-digit heat in Quartzsite.

According to Mayes’ office, park management gave tenants 48 hours to vacate before allegedly shutting off electrical service, though no reason for the evictions was publicly provided.

Officials said several elderly and disabled tenants live at the park, where temperatures topped 100 degrees this week, raising concerns about heat-related illness and violations of state law.

The park’s owners were ordered to restore power by yesterday evening or face potential penalties. Park management has not publicly responded to the allegations.

A Prescott man accused of staging a cartel kidnapping was taken back into custody after authorities said he fled midway through his trial.

According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, 33-year-old Mark Ellis told his employer he had been kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel and needed more than $17,000 wired to him to stay alive.

Investigators later determined the kidnapping was fabricated, saying Ellis devised the scheme to recoup online gambling losses.

Authorities arrested Ellis Tuesday night after locating him hiding in the back of a vehicle in Prescott. The original 2025 investigation also turned up drug paraphernalia at his home.

Morgan Stanley Calls This a $9T Opportunity

If Morgan Stanley is right, the flying car industry will grow 185,850% by 2050. In fact, they say it will reach $9 trillion in size, more than twice as valuable as today’s global car market.

And 5,500+ investors believe Doroni will lead the charge.

While competitors chase air fleets and taxis, Doroni’s H1-X aircraft is designed for everyday life. It plugs in and charges like an EV, fits in a two-car garage, and requires just 25 hours of training to pilot.

Others are peddling blueprints and renderings. Meanwhile, Doroni just unveiled a full-scale showroom prototype in March. It was so impressive, FOX Business called it the “‘flying car’ set to revolutionize personal air travel.”

600+ people have already reserved one, good for $240M in potential revenue for Doroni. Now’s your chance to claim a piece of this growth as a Doroni investor today.
