Answer: Charles Meadows, also known as Arizona Charlie Meadows. Meadows lived an eventful life, riding alongside Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley, striking Klondike gold before losing his mine in a poker game, and opening a theater that’s still in use. Retired near Yuma, he joked it would snow when he died—and in 1932, it did, the city’s only snowfall since.
