U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem led a pre-dawn Immigration raid in Phoenix on Tuesday, telling a detainee who kicked at her, “You’re not scaring me with your Croc,” a reference to his slip-on shoes.

Three illegal migrants with extensive criminal histories and alleged ties to money-laundering operations and the Sinaloa Cartel were arrested. About 100 agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other agencies took part in the bust.

The Noem-led raid coincided with Tuesday’s visit to the state Capitol by national border czar Tom Homan.

Phoenix resident Mark Benz received tentative city approval to operate a small gun-selling business out of his home despite strong opposition by some neighbors and others.

The city included a requirement that Benz must wait one year to begin gun sales, giving planning officials time to reconsider the rezoning.

Opponents of the rezoning cite safety concerns and the potential impact on property values in the Northview neighborhood.

Days after restraining a suspected drunk driver who crashed into his neighbor’s Phoenix home, UFC fighter Henry “Triple C” Cejudo’s residence was burglarized on Tuesday morning.

The thief stole Cejudo’s first UFC championship belt and about $10,000 worth of camera equipment from a detached studio. Watch Cejudo’s interview.

Cejudo’s friend and boxing champion Hughie Johnston offered a $10,000 reward for the belt’s return. “He earned it the hard way,” Johnston said.

Cejudo said he will not press charges if the items are returned.
