Article Icon 1Primary Voting Begins

Mail ballots go out and early voting opens today, ahead of the state’s July 21 primary that will decide party nominations for governor and other offices.

Voters registered without a party must request a Republican, Democratic, or other recognized party’s ballot to take part. Completed early ballots must be mailed back by July 14 or dropped off through Election Day.

The Citizens Clean Elections Commission is hosting debates across contested races through the primary. Earlier this month, the four Republican candidates for governor took part in their only scheduled debate.

Monday was the last day Arizona residents could register to vote in the state’s upcoming primary election.

Article Icon 1Lucid to Cut 705 Jobs

Electric-vehicle maker Lucid Motors will eliminate 705 jobs in the state and end the second production shift at its Casa Grande factory, according to a notice filed with the state.

The cuts are expected to take effect by September, part of an 18% global workforce reduction disclosed by the company in an SEC filing.

The move marks the second round of Lucid layoffs this year, following a 12% cutback in February, and comes a few weeks after new CEO Silvio Napoli took over and pledged a review of its operations amid weak EV demand.

Lucid also runs a manufacturing and warehouse site in Coolidge and a hub in Phoenix.

Article Icon 1  Guthrie Case Ongoing

Savannah Guthrie addressed reports of a second alleged ransom note that surfaced after the Feb. 1 disappearance of her mother, Nancy.

Savannah Guthrie declined to comment on the note and used the moment to ask anyone with information to come forward.

The unverified note claimed Nancy Guthrie died shortly after she was abducted and was “buried in nature.”

A joint FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department task force is still searching for Guthrie. No suspect has been publicly identified.

“Cobots” Are Transforming This $1T Market

They’re not replacing humans; they’re working with them. That’s the promise of “cobots,” or collaborative robots.

In a robotics market NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang called “one of the largest industries ever,” the cobot segment is projected to grow 15X by 2035.

And Miso Robotics is proving its value in the $1T fast-food industry.

Their Flippy fry station AI robot boosts restaurant profits up to 3X, logging 200k hours in live kitchens alongside human employees for brands like White Castle.

Flippy carries $4B/year in U.S. revenue potential on its own. And that’s just one piece of Miso’s platform.

Big-name brands like Jersey Mike’s and Cinnabon just became customers. Industry powerhouse Ecolab already invested. Join them as an early-stage shareholder before Miso hits their $2.5M raise goal for June
