Own The Flyover
From the Founder’s Desk:Why I Want Flyover Readers to Own The Arizona Flyover

When I decided to accept investors in The Arizona Flyover, one thing mattered to me more than anything: that our readers would have the chance to become our owners. If I had my druthers, every single investor in The Arizona Flyover would be an Arizona Flyover reader. That’s why we’ve structured this offering with you in mind:
  • 5% bonus shares for all Arizona Flyover readers who invest
  • An additional 5% and 10% bonus for those investing larger amounts
Legally, the offering is open to any U.S. citizen. But my heart—and our strategy—is focused on keeping ownership in the hands of our readers. Right now, we’re less than $350,000 away from hitting 50% of our ultimate funding goal—but our Q3 deadline for 50% raised has passed and we are behind.
That’s why I’m asking our readers one more time: will you consider investing in The Arizona Flyover today?
But some of our readers are asking: “How do I get a return on my investment?”
Here’s why The Arizona Flyover is different:
  • Already profitable after just two years (most startups never are)
  • 80% gross margins and 24% net income (exceptional margins)
  • In the top 1% of media start-ups (proven strength)
How investors could realize returns:
  1. A Sale – Only to a partner who shares our values. (CNN or the New York Times need not apply.)
  2. Public Listing – Shares traded openly on an exchange.
  3. Profit Distributions (Dividends) – Because we’re already profitable, this is possible.
Recap: Sale. Listing. Distributions.
My Closing Pitch

More than 1,450 Flyover readers have already joined us as investors. We’re just $350K away from our next milestone. If you’ve been considering investing, now is the moment. Let’s finish this round together and make The Arizona Flyover a news company truly owned by its readers.

Will you be one of the investors who help us keep The Arizona Flyover reader-owned?

Article Icon 1Impact of Partial Federal Shutdown Unclear

The impact on Arizona and other states was uncertain as a partial shutdown of the federal government began on Wednesday.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs said essential health care, benefits, and crisis support for veterans will continue, though some programs like career counseling and GI Bill hotlines will pause.

The shutdown could impact the Grand Canyon North Rim businesses, which were preparing to reopen after the Dragon Bravo Fire, potentially delaying revenue for local owners reliant on tourism.

Arizona’s elected officials responded to the shutdown with partisan sparring.

Article Icon 1Turning Point Holds Utah Event

Turning Point USA representatives returned to Utah for the first time since the assassination of the group’s founder, Charlie Kirk of Scottsdale.

The Tuesday night event at Utah State University—two hours from where Kirk was killed—drew thousands amid heightened security. Arizona U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, and other speakers urged students to turn grief into action.

Hours before the event, a building on the campus was temporarily evacuated after a suspicious, non-explosive device was found, underscoring ongoing safety worries.

Last week, Kirk’s widow, Erika, said that Phoenix-based Turning Point would remain active on campuses across the country. “We’re not going anywhere. We have the blueprints. We have our marching orders… My husband’s voice will live on,” she said.

Article Icon 1More Gen Z Males Going to Church

A study found that Gen Z males outnumber young females in church attendance for the first time in U.S. history.

Gen Z describes people born between 1997 and 2012 who are now roughly 13 to 28 years old.

The Barna Group study also found churchgoing Gen Z and Millennials (ages 29-44) attend services more than older generations, with the average Gen Z churchgoer attending about twice a month.

Experts and attendees say the increase is driven by a search for meaning, community, and guidance.
